Tasting Notes: A sensual salmon pink. Fresh aromas of rose petals and summer strawberry. This is confirmed in the palate, fading into fleeting hints of cherry and vanilla. A vivid, well-balanced wine with a refreshing finish.
Food Pairing: A perfect summer wine, ideal for pic-nics, as an aperitif or to accompany Asian food. Drink at temperature of 10ºC - 12ºC.
Alcohol: 13% vol.
Vineyard: The grapes stem from our red varietals that grow mainly on the steeper, south-facing slopes. Here, the vines are exposed to longer sunshine hours where aromatic compounds develop to their fullest. Rigorous quality control in the vineyard during the growing season produces healthy fruit that is hand-picked in boxes of 20kg.
Winemaking & Ageing: In order to concentrate the red wines, juice is drained from the red grapes after de-stemming. After short contact with grape skins, the must settled for 24 hours at a temperature of 7ºC and fermented in a stainless steel tank at very low temperatures of 11ºC. Bottled a short while later to maintain all of its aromatic potential.
